JORD Watch Review & Giveaway!

Since my husband Cary and I met, I have always gotten him a watch as his birthday present. They have been really nice watches too, in a variety of styles. Well, this year was the first time I hadn’t gotten him one because it just felt like he had one for every occasion but he seemed a little surprised not to open one this year.

When the kind people at JORD Watches reached out to me to see if I wanted to collaborate on a Father’s Day campaign and try out one of their men’s watches, I was really excited.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with JORD, they are unique wood watches that are built for the modern lifestyle, handcrafted right here in the USA. Sleek, lightweight and sustainable. Their mission statement is what really sold me on the collaboration. “The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time.” Do we need much more of a reminder to slow down and enjoy every second of each day we are given?

Since Cary is a bigger built guy, he always tends to gravitate towards watches with a bigger face but the downside is he stops wearing them after a while because big face usually correlates with big weight. Not this JORD watch. Again, it’s so lightweight, comfortable and seems to match with just about everything. Dress it up, dress it down, it’s still perfect.

Cary’s watch is the Conway Series Walnut & Jet Black. Aside from the weight and overall comfort of the watch, one of his favorite features is the sapphire crystal glass face and luminescent hands. This has been some of his biggest complaints on prior watches I’ve given him and it comes standard on this watch. So it means no scratches on the face plate and no having to find a light to check the time.

The wood on these watches is super easy to clean and just takes a little bit of lemon or orange extract oil since they are made with 100% untreated wood. Because of this, you likely won’t have any type of skin reaction to wearing it like Cary has with many other watches.

If you are looking for a really unique gift or still searching for a Father’s Day gift, I highly recommend one of these watches. Plus it comes with a pretty amazing watch box and FREE shipping. The only downside is that I didn’t get a women’s watch to review but Cary is obsessed and is thoroughly enjoying his early Father’s Day gift.

  • Our little guy’s nursery is almost ready, just a few more finishing touches to the other side of the room and we will be done. It’s surreal to walk in this room and imagine him here. We decided to go a little more minimalistic this time around and this convertible crib from @deltachildren was the perfect addition. We also got a dual sided crib and toddler mattress to go along with it from them. Both are super affordable and I’ll be sharing more in my stories including links on where you can purchase. Only about 6 more weeks and you’ll be here sweet boy 💙 #33weekspregnant #sponsored #deltachildren

Pregnancy after miscarriage definitely gives you this heightened appreciation for each passing day. • I see so many littles heading back to school and it’s making me realize Teagan starts pre-school in just a few weeks and I have to make sure she’s equipped with all the essentials to keep her healthy. But first, tonight I’ll be going live at 9pm EST to talk all about the essential oils I’ve been using for pregnancy, preparing for labor and ones that will be imperative postpartum. I’ve already gotten so many amazing questions but feel free to leave more below! Essential oils can be super confusing at first but I hope I make it easier through these lives to see that they are actually the easiest thing to add into your toolkit! 💕 #32weekspregnant
