I decided to start a little blog series where I talk about the things I’m loving lately, whether it be beauty products, clothes, baby products, food products, etc. I just think it’s a fun way to keep track of all the things I love and also share them with all of you.

This is going to be my first one and it’s going to focus on all the beauty products I am currently loving. I’ve found a lot of products recently that are just amazing and then ones I’ve loved for years so I figured I would go ahead and combine those here. I am by no means a beauty expert, I get most of my tips and tricks from my friend Liza. Go check her out on Instagram here or her YouTube channel here. Again, not a beauty expert, just a mama that likes a simple beauty routine.

1. It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara

-I have been on the hunt for my ‘go-to’ mascara for years now and I’ve just never found quite the right one. One will make my lashes look longer but won’t volumize while another will volumize but give them no length. This mascara by It Cosmetics is literally the best of both worlds. I am seriously so obsessed with it and it’s actually pretty affordable at just a little over $25 for a large tube. No need to purchase anything to help grow your lashes, this is seriously the best mascara I’ve ever used. I got it in Black.

2. BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream

-So I am not a liquid foundation kinda gal. I usually only wear powder because in the past my face as been so sensitive. And when I say that I mean using a liquid foundation would make me break out by the end of the night. Last summer I purchased this tinted moisturizer just because with a newborn I didn’t want to have to mess with powder every day and I’ve really just been in love with it ever since. It doesn’t make me break out and gives me a nice glow or creates a good base if I’m putting powder on over top. Plus it’s SPF 30 which is super important. No wrinkles, ladies! I get mine in the color Vanilla 02.

3. BareMinerals Barepro Performance Wear Powder Foundation

-Sticking with BareMinerals, this is the powder foundation I use every day. It just has great coverage, doesn’t make me break out and isn’t insanely expensive. I get mine in the color Light Natural.

4. Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Soft and Sexy Eye Shadow Collection

-This is currently my favorite eyeshadow palette. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I’m just in love. The colors are so beautiful and have a good mix of both matte and shimmery colors. The colors are also a great mix of cool and warmer tones and I think they are just so beautiful and flattering. I seriously use this every.single.day. It might be a little pricey for some but I’ve had it for so long and all the colors are still full so I think it’s worth the money.

5. CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser

-Like I said earlier, I have very sensitive skin and my dermatologist recommended using this cleanser every morning and night. For a while I wasn’t consistent and therefore never saw any consistency with my face. Since using it every day, my skin has gotten softer, my breakouts have gone down significantly and my skin isn’t as sensitive to other products I put on it. It’s also free of parabens and sulfates. It’s effective and completely affordable seeing as you can get it at any drugstore.

6. CeraVe Moisturizers

-Per the dermatologist recommendation, I am also using the CeraVe moisturizers. I bought both the AM Lotion and the PM lotion. The AM has SPF and they are both just so moisturizing whether being oily or irritating. Again, totally affordable but effective.

At this point, I’m not super in love with any hair care products but that’s probably because I’m still combating the postpartum hair issues. My hair is so different now and just in a weird place where I think we are getting reintroduced to each other so maybe my next edition will include some products that I’ve found that just knock my socks off.

Anybody else have any products they are loving lately? Loving any of the products I listed here?

what do you think?

  • Our little guy’s nursery is almost ready, just a few more finishing touches to the other side of the room and we will be done. It’s surreal to walk in this room and imagine him here. We decided to go a little more minimalistic this time around and this convertible crib from @deltachildren was the perfect addition. We also got a dual sided crib and toddler mattress to go along with it from them. Both are super affordable and I’ll be sharing more in my stories including links on where you can purchase. Only about 6 more weeks and you’ll be here sweet boy 💙 #33weekspregnant #sponsored #deltachildren
  • Holy moly 7 more weeks until our due date! The second half of this pregnancy has been flying by and I’ve never been so content to be so extremely achy and tired! Pregnancy after miscarriage definitely gives you this heightened appreciation for each passing day. I have this enormous amount of gratitude that God entrusted me with this perfect rainbow baby! 💙🌈 #33weekspregnant #rainbowbaby #pregnancyafterloss
  • I see so many littles heading back to school and it’s making me realize Teagan starts pre-school in just a few weeks and I have to make sure she’s equipped with all the essentials to keep her healthy. But first, tonight I’ll be going live at 9pm EST to talk all about the essential oils I’ve been using for pregnancy, preparing for labor and ones that will be imperative postpartum. I’ve already gotten so many amazing questions but feel free to leave more below! Essential oils can be super confusing at first but I hope I make it easier through these lives to see that they are actually the easiest thing to add into your toolkit! 💕 #32weekspregnant

  • Did you know that your sense of smell is the only sense that stimulates your limbic system? It’s the sense that is most closely connected to memory and smell is highly emotive. It’s doesn’t matter what emotion I’m going through, there is an oil to help. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Be sure to check my highlights for a fun sign up promo! 💕🌈
