I’m been meaning to sit down and write this for a few days now but sigh…life anddddd I’ve been waiting on them to send over a discount code for ya’ll. Anyhow, I was so excited when I was contacted to collaborate with Rocksbox and be a part of their affiliate program. I had never tried out Rocksbox before but I had seen a lot of people on social media rave about it.

I am the type that doesn’t want to buy cheap jewelry anymore but I’m also too afraid to commit to more expansive pieces besides my staples of wedding/engagement ring, pearls from my grandma, and my engraved ‘Teagan’ necklace. I’ve just been afraid of spending a big chunk of money and then a week later not loving the piece or realizing it doesn’t go great with my wardrobe. Because of all this, Rocksbox is really the perfect option for a gal like me and I know you’ll love it too which is why they are offering you a month free using my personal code.

Below I’m going to go through the basics of what Rocksbox is as well as the unboxing of my very first box!

What is Rocksbox?

Rocksbox is a subscription based jewelry service that costs only $21/month. You make a wish list of 30 pieces of jewelry from their site and based on the style profile you fill out when you sign up, your personal stylist will hand pick 3 pieces from your wish list for your box. The whole idea behind this service is try before you buy.

How Long Can I Keep Each Piece?

As long as you want! That’s the amazing part. If you get the box and aren’t crazy about any of the pieces, you can send it back after a day and get 3 new pieces and pay nothing more. It really is only $21/ month no matter how many boxes you get. On the flipside, you can also keep pieces indefinitely that you are in love with as long as you continue to pay that monthly fee.

Can I Buy the Pieces I Love?

Yes! The other great thing about this service is that $21 isn’t for nothing, it can be used as a credit towards any of the pieces you want to purchase that month.

What Brands Does Rocksbox Carry?

They continue to partner with the best brands such as Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, House of Harlow, and Loren Hope just to name a few. These brands can have normal price tags that are far out of reach for some of us but this box allows everyone to have the luxury to feel beautiful and test things out before dropping a large amount of cash.

If you have additional questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below!

Now to my unboxing!! Yay!!

First off, the packaging is beautiful. It literally comes in a box tied with a pretty pink bow. They have a personalized card that will give you a break down of each piece in addition to the price. It’s obvious they put a lot of detail and pride into each package.

The first piece I got and the one I am the most excited about is this Kendra Scott Rayne necklace in periwinkle.

I’ve always wanted one of these because it’s such a timeless piece and easily goes from day to night. The signature oval stone and beautiful tassel just go so well with any outfit. And the periwinkle is such a vibrant color.

The second piece I got are these Ava Rose earrings. They are the Charlotte Studs in Gold and Platinum. I just really liked how simple they were yet a different look from my typical pearls.

Probably not a pair I would consider keeping because they just don’t do a whole lot for me but still really beautiful and fun. They also don’t photograph well so I’ll have to try again when I’m wearing them.

The last piece of jewelry I got is another Kendra Scott….because duh. These are the Elle Earrings in Gold and Silver Filigree.

While I love the signature oval stone earrings, I thought these were so beautiful and different. Different in a subtle way though. I’m not a flashy person at all when it comes to my jewelry but these certainly help me spice it up a bit.

For me these aren’t an everyday earring at this point in time seeing as Teagan would likely rip my earlobe off in the process but they are awesome for a day or night out with my husband or friends. Or you know later down the road when my toddler isn’t a monster 🙂

All in all I’m very happy with my first Rocksbox and I’m really excited to mix and match them with my wardrobe and then send them in and wait for my next goodies to arrive.

If you are interested in trying out Rocksbox for free for a month you can use my code Jenny4gaskellxoxo remember that means you can get as many boxes throughout that month as you want. Now go sign up by clicking the image below and spruce up your #OOTD <3

As if the packaging wasn’t enough the jewelry is amazing! I love Rocksbox! I cancelled once I got pregnant but I am dying to get it back in my hands.

I do like the two pieces you like. $21 is not bad monthly I suppose. Do they tell you how much the jewelry is for you to buy outright in the box or do you have to call them? I like the idea of sending it back and getting new pieces. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry but maybe I would if I got nice pieces like this.

The Ava Rose and Elle earrings are so pretty! I’ve never head of Rocksbox, but I love the concept. I love jewelry but get tired of the same pieces. I will definitely check them out.

  • I put a blog post up today. One I didn’t know if I was going to share. It is the hardest thing I’ve ever written. It emotionally felt like the time to let go of some hurt and the only way I know how to do that is to write about it. This isn’t attention seeking. I expect no response. This is purely for me. While it’s a sad situation, it’s something I want to look back on and know I got through with my family.

  • This has been such a highly requested post and I finally put it together. Up on the blog today I am talking all about using essential oils safely in the nursery with your kiddos. I hope you all find it helpful and as a result, essential oils a little less intimidating. You can find the link to that post in my bio! 💕🌿

  • I’ve always been pretty open about having super sensitive skin and some hormonal acne. It sucks. I’m always afraid to try new products because I typically wake up to a new pimple. The excitement was real to try @clarinsusa #nextgenserum because I had heard amazing things. It didn’t disappoint. I genuinely feel like it has transformed the texture of my skin in less than 3 weeks. I added it to my morning and nighttime routine and I’m so happy with the results. Get your hands on this, I swear it’s worth every penny. .
I received this product complimentary from Clarins. The opinions are 100% my own. #gotforfree #freewithoctoly #sponsored
