The farmhouse style is all the rage right now and unfortunately that means you end up paying a pretty penny for décor. I am a very frugal person but also like quality stuff so I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite pieces that are all under $50; some of these are in my home and some are on my wishlist. So if you are looking to add a little bit of that rustic feel to your home without breaking the bank then this is the list for you.

  1. Preserved Boxwood Wreath

I think spending a little extra money and going with the preserved boxwood over the artificial is completely worth it. You can just see the difference. But I have to warn you, when you first pull it out of the box it doesn’t smell good. Full disclosure, your house might smell like dirt/outside for a good day or two but totally worth it! I have mine hanging over an old, reclaimed window pane with a burlap bow.

2. Galvanized Hanging Letter

This is an oversized letter that is hollowed out for you to hang. I personally think it has the perfect amount of distressing without it being overly obnoxious. We have one of these in our kitchen nook area and I just love how it adds just that little bit of personal touch without plastering our last name all over the walls. I wanted to get a few more and spell out “play” in Teagans new play area.

3. Coffee, Tea, and Sugar Canisters

These are on my wish list. I think they would be perfect for our coffee bar and add that farmhouse feel without going too rustic! And a total steal for under $20.

4. Galvanized Milk Pitcher

These make for the best flower vases- real or faux! Another steal at $15!

5. Rustic Clock

I couldn’t find the exact one I have in my home which is my absolute favorite (Hobby Lobby a few years ago) but I found another one that I also really liked.

6. Wooden Signs

I have two favorite sign shops that I will link below. They both make great quality signs and are worth every penny but have a bunch below $50. I have several from each in my home.

Queen B Home

Smallwood Home

7. Small Faux Plants

I get the majority of my faux plants from Ikea because they are super cheap but also look real. I also really like their pots so I’ve linked a few below. You can just click each picture to shop.

8. Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Just a fun way to add a tiny bit of rustic flair to all your bathrooms!

9. Faux Lavender Bouquet

Perfect for that metal milk pitcher mentioned above.

10. Our Nest Pillow Cover

No explanation needed. This is the best. Andddd like $10!

11. Letterboard

One last item for fun because what home is complete without a letterboard, especially one with farmhouse decor! Oak+Made offers amazing quality letterboards at amazing prices. You can get all 3 sizes under $50 if you use my discount code JENNY10 for 10% off at checkout!

I wish I had the eye for decorating. I know what I like when I see it but my mix and matching skills…well, one might think I’m colorblind! Lol. These are really simple and look fantastic. Maybe even someone like me can pull it off! 😊

  • This little oil right here has changed my world. When I found out I had Graves Disease I felt so much grief and stress. The whole “why me?” set in. I keep smiling and try to stay positive but the truth is emotionally it’s been a rollercoaster to process each and everyday. When you go through times of stress and grief your adrenal glands can shut down which only further screws up my endocrine system. Joy can help open back up those adrenal glands and help provide that emotional support. The truth is that I notice a difference when I don’t use it and to me that’s enough to know I need it in my life. Every single day. But really, who doesn’t need a little bit of joy?! 💕
  • I started a new monthly series on my blog called Motherhood Uncensored where real mamas get real authentic. I was humbled by their participation in this post and loved their honesty! Head over and give it a read! The link is in my bio! 💕
