The last several days our bedroom has been diffuser-less because our sweet girl seemed congested so we put it in her room. Well, needless to say we haven’t been sleeping great. I briefly mentioned a DIY pillow spray to Cary and then later that night he told me he wanted me to make one for our bedroom.
This is seriously so dang easy and so effective. If I’m being honest I think I might sleep harder with this spray than I do with the diffuser. Obviously, both are great and effective but it’s a great option if you don’t have a diffuser.
You can use this on pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, etc. Whatever you use for that nap or bedtime routines for kiddos and yourself.
What You Need:
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
10 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil
10 drops Gentle Baby Essential Oil
2 oz. glass spray bottle
¼ tsp Isopropyl Alcohol (if you don’t have this you can use vodka)
- Fill your bottle with 10 drops of each oil
- Put in the Isopropyl Alcohol or Vodka. This will help the spray dry quicker on the fabric without leaving any damage.
- Fill the rest with distilled water.
- Shake before each use.
- Happy Sleepy Vibes 🙂
