I have been having so much fun finding new ways to incorporate essential oils into my daily life. I also love DIY projects so I feel like I am just getting started on this journey.
I have pretty sensitive skin and have always had hormonal acne right around my chin area. My dermatologist said it likely wouldn’t change until I had a baby. Well here I am a year and a half postpartum and same issue. This moisturizer really does help. It hasn’t cleared the issues completely but it does make them clear up faster and I’ll take any help I can get.
This is a very simple recipe and takes about 5 minutes to make.
- 1/2 cup Organic Raw Shea Butter
- 1/2 cup Organic Unfiltered Coconut Oil
- 15 drops Frankincense
- 10 Drops Lavender
- 4 oz. glass jar
- Whip the shea butter and coconut oil in a mixer until smooth. (I used my KitchenAid but you can use a hand mixer)
- Add oils and mix until combined
- Transfer to glass jar
- Enjoy that smooth skin! 🙂
